This site gives general information about UK home energy funding. It is not financial advice, and it does not advise on or arrange any credit agreement. The figures shown are illustrations. Always confirm current scheme details on GOV.UK before making a decision.

Information, not advice

Our guides and tools are for general information. They do not take account of your personal circumstances and are not a recommendation to take out any loan or buy any product. Whether a scheme suits you, and whether a lender will approve you, depends on your situation and the lender's own checks.

Illustrations and accuracy

Calculator results are estimates based on the assumptions shown. Actual costs, savings and rates will differ. We take care to keep figures current and cite our sources, but schemes change, and we cannot guarantee that every figure is accurate at the moment you read it. Where a figure is expected rather than confirmed, we label it as such.

Introductions to installers

If you ask, we introduce you to MCS-certified installers. Any contract for work is between you and the installer. We are not a party to it and are not responsible for the work. See how we make money.

Not affiliated with government

This site is independent. It is not GOV.UK, not the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero, and not any part of government or a scheme administrator. Official applications, when they open, are made through the relevant scheme or lender, not through this site.
